Wow. When we arrived in a back street, we thought, ummm!|We rang the bell and Jean Paul, the owner opened the doors to paradise. |We have been in many fancy hotels around Europe, Palma, Rome, Sorrento, Capri but never experienced such tranquility and everything was just perfect. The atmosphere, the pool area was heaven, with only 9 rooms we only saw one other couple around the pool area. Our room which was a superior was tastefully decorated and the bed was high quality. No cheap mattresses here. Value at present is off scale, we were hesitant to write a review, as we wanted to keep this our little secret getaway. We had the pleasure of meeting Jean Paul’s sister, who helps out. The staff were amazing, the breakfast which is bookable so you don’t all 18 of you turn up in mass 😂. Continental breakfast but I just went for the freshly cooked eggs which you can have anyway, on fresh artisan toast. We like a lay in and went down at 10.15. The location is bang in the centre really. Short walk to marina 3 minutes and Old Town which you have to visit is 5 minutes away. Restaurants and bars 1 minute away. Our first visit to Faro albeit we go to QDL or VDL twice a year. This will be our regular visit. Cannot recommend highly enough.
